The First Category A is the highest division of Colombian football. During the year, it is divided into two tournaments: Apertura and Clausura. Atlético Nacional de Medellín is the team that has accumulated the most victories, although clubs from Cali and Bogotá are also doing very well. Whoever is champion, achieves automatic qualification for the Copa Libertadores.
