The Middlesbrough Football Club is an English team that was founded in 1876. Since its inception it has risen and fallen between the first and second categories and is currently participating in the English Football League Championship, the second division in England.
The red and white team was on the verge of disappearing in 1986, but a senior manager of the club saved it and took charge of the team. Steve Gibson became the president and owner of the club. Years later, in 2004, Middlesbrough became champion of the second division.
