Club Atlético Tigre was founded on August 3, 1902 in the Province of Buenos Aires. On May 11, 1913, the team signs its first victory in the First Division. In 1934, the team was excluded from the First Division due to a controversial decree of return and acquired a piece of land to build its new stadium. At the end of 2006 Diego Cagna got a great team that achieved a comfortable classification for the Reduced Tournament, which not only won but also took him back to the First Division.
