Opened in 2011 in a match against Ajax Amsterdam, Galatasaray's modern stadium maintains the infernal atmosphere that the legendary Ali Sami Yen stadium had back in the day. Galatasaray fans consistently support their team with original chants, waving large flags, setting off flares, ultimately contributing color and creating a very hostile atmosphere for the visiting team. All of this can be witnessed from the left-hand side stands behind the benches, where Arif usually watches his team's matches.
