Club Deportivo Castellón was founded in 1922 and currently plays in the third category of Spanish football. The club is located in Castellón de la Plana, in the Valencian Community.
The founders of the club have told that the idea was to make a tricolor striped shirt: green for the fields, blue for the sea and orange for the fruit. But they did not succeed and settled for white shirts. Finally, the agreed colors were black and white striped.
