The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup will feature 32 teams, an increase from the usual 7. Since 2025, the new format will include the champions of each continental competition, as well as top-ranked clubs from around the world. The tournament will be hosted by EEUU and is expected to take place in June and July 2025.

The new competition will have a group stage and knockout rounds, aiming to provide a more global and competitive showcase of top clubs. Participating teams will include Real Madrid, Atletico de Madrid, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Boca Juniors, River Plate, Flamengo, Fluminense, Inter Miami, Manchester City, Chelsea, PSG, Juventus, Inter, Benfica, Porto, and many more!
